Three questions, three research programs
This is a curated route across distinct properties and independent research themes. Their shared principle is that an observation, a record of its origin, and a conclusion about what happened are different kinds of information. Keeping them separate improves both examination and communication.
1. What evidence could be missing or misleading?
Anti-Forensics.com focuses on the availability and interpretation of digital traces. Its public field manual, artifact index and source-based threat feed help researchers examine missing logs, timestamps, metadata and preservation limitations. A suspicious gap is not, by itself, proof of deliberate concealment.

2. What can we establish about an AI-related object's origin?
SyntheticForensics.org addresses provenance, authenticity, AI-generated records and synthetic media. A cryptographic check can help validate an asserted binding, but its presence or absence does not independently prove a depicted event happened or did not happen.

3. How might a person misidentify the source of remembered information?
SyntheticImprinting.com explores the proposed language of synthetic imprinting, alongside the established area of source monitoring. The former is an evolving research framework, not an established clinical effect or a conclusion about any particular person's memory.

One review sequence
- Define the claim: write the event, time window, object and required proof without attaching an intention or identity prematurely.
- Preserve the sources: separate first-generation records from copies, exports, transformations and secondary commentary.
- Map dependencies: identify whether apparently independent accounts share an original source, system or narrative.
- Test ordinary explanations: retention, drift, transcription, re-encoding, selective collection, familiarity and other non-malicious causes.
- Report the boundary: distinguish observation, supported inference, competing hypothesis and unknown.
Download and apply
Download Evidence Dependency Worksheet (CSV). The file includes column headers for source identity, acquisition, transformations, independence, alternatives and coverage gaps. It is a blank research aid, not an evidence-management system or certified validation instrument.
Read Forensic Observability for missing-record analysis and The Independent-Corroboration Audit for a reproducible source-review protocol.
Standards and transparency
Maintain the original source, document analysis versions, disclose material use of AI and record corrections. These are methodological recommendations; the cross-project program does not imply that the three sites share one organization, legal owner, peer-review status or empirical validation history.
